“Technically the album is far more polished than their first one, the musicianship has evolved, the recording and production have had a significant amount of effort and time put into them. Ev’s vocal delivery is still breathy and soft, but stronger and more mature. The drums and bass are well integrated into the material, supportive but with the occasional flourishes that I recognise from seeing them doing their thing on stage. I would definitely recommend this album, it is full of reflective and thoughtful lyrics, some of them cutting, but with some tender moments too. I really hope people take the opportunity to see them live too. Great job, I really enjoyed this, and not just because I happen to know them.“
